Quarterly Charites:
Thank you to everyone who donated to our 2022 and 2023 Charities: 2022 - Crafty Angels, A Father's Place, Subs for Santa and CAP - Churches Assisting People!! 2023- Champion Autism Network CAN, Grand Strand Down Syndrome Society, Barbabas Horse Foundation and Boys & Girls Club of the Grand Strand!!
2023 Charities:
*1st Quarter - Grand Strand Humane Society - Society exists to improve the quality of life for companion animals by providing shelter and care to the lost, homeless, helpless and unwanted animals of our community. They focus on finding adoptive homes for the animals in their shelter, providing low-cost veterinary care to the public, and through community involvement and education further the bond between people and animals. Grand Strand Humane Society is an open admission shelter taking in animals brought in by the City of Myrtle Beach Animal Control officers and from citizens within the Myrtle Beach city limits. Years ago they made the decision to stop euthanizing healthy, adoptable animals for space and it was the right decision and the only option for Grand Strand Humane Society. The decision did increase the financial struggle, but they strive to continue finding every healthy, adoptable animal a forever family as long as it is financially feasible. Because of these efforts they also are now proud to be a part of the No-Kill South Carolina community. They strive to educate our community about responsible pet ownership and works hard to investigate and prevent animal cruelty of all kinds. They do an amazing job in our community helping those animals that can’t help themselves. I volunteered with them for many years and rescued my sweet Queenie through them so I am so happy that we can partner with them and help make a difference in the lives of these sweet babies as well.
*2nd Quarter - SC Cares
*3rd Quarter - Jacqueline Rogers Breast Cancer Foundation
*4th Quarter - Local Tourism
